In this role, you will:
  • Lead the development and delivery of a workforce strategy aligned to organisational values.
  • Champion DEI and embed inclusive practices across all people processes.
  • Oversee learning and development, including capability reviews and performance frameworks.
  • Manage a £400k L&D and DEI budget to deliver high-impact interventions.
  • Guide staff engagement through surveys and action planning.
You’ll bring:
  • Proven experience leading L&D and DEI strategy in complex organisations.
  • Strong data-led decision-making and budget management skills.

Our client, a business focused on 'doing good', is seeking an Application Analyst to join their team. Through this exclusive arrangement with Portare Solutions, you’ll be playing an important part in their ongoing development.
 
What you'll be responsible for:
  • Evaluating and improving existing software applications to meet business requirements.
  • Understanding user needs and recommending effective technology solutions.
  • Managing the deployment and configuration of software.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for applications.
  • Working with IT teams to ensure systems are well-integrated.
  • Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices.
  • Helping to enhance business efficiency and customer satisfaction through effective technology use.
We're looking for someone who has:
  • A degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A strong customer focus and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in analysing customer data and reporting on findings.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • A good technical understanding of business systems.
  • Proven experience in building trust and working collaboratively.
  • A results-oriented approach with high personal standards.
  • Good project management abilities and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • An awareness of Agile or Lean methodologies would be beneficial.
